The Surfers Paradise Festival is back with a bang in 2014, bigger and better than ever before. A celebration of Gold Coast music, art, food and culture, the festival is here to entertain, intrigue, dazzle and delight. A vibrant showcase of emerging local talent and a platform for national and international artists, the festival occupies and defines Surfers Paradise across four weekends of free community events. 

 

 

Street Parade  

Wednesday 2 April, 2014

Head in on the opening night to see the Official Opening Ceremony Lantern Parade. Bringing together school and community groups, the parade of colourful lanterns weaves through the streets of Surfers Paradise.

  

Hard Rock Rocks the Beach presents Launch It! 

Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April, 2014

The Launch It Concert series returns for three days of national and international concert performances on Surfers Paradise Beach. A tradition that grows each year, with two separate gigs and two distinct vibes, Launch It showcases the cutting edge of contemporary Australian music, right on the sands of Surfers Paradise Beach. One Way Street Party 

Saturday 12 April, 2014

Live bands, vintage fashions and cutting edge cultural expression – the One Way Street Party is back. The laneway-style street event transforms out of-the-way Appel Street into a showcase of the gold coast's sharpest musical and artistic tacks. One Way will once again include the SIPFest Film Festival, an outdoor cinema event. More info... 

 

Australian Street Entertainment Championships

Friday 18 April to Monday 21 April, 2014

Bringing the carnival theme to this year's festival celebration is the Australian Street Entertainment Championships. Held over four days, clowns, mimes, jugglers and dancers will take to stages across Surfers Paradise in a carnival of light and laughter. More info...

 

A la Carte in the Park

A la Carte in the Park is back once again, delighting the taste-buds of guests in a food, wine and jazz festival. Starring the city's finest restaurateurs, the relaxed picnic blanket affair transforms Lionel Perry Park on the banks of the Nerang River into a swirl of tantalising tastes, decadent drops and live music from the pick of local jazz and folk talent.  More info...
