See Cavill Mall light up this Christmas, as the weather warms up for a great Australian Christmas on the Gold Coast.

The family event introduces Santa to the beach, transforming his sleigh into a surfboat pulled by six white kangaroos. Don't forget to post your Christmas letter, and snap a photo with the man in red!

Alongside Santa's surfboat sleigh will be nine nights of free entertainment, in Cavill Mall. And while you're enjoying the sights and sounds of Surfers Paradise, keep an eye out for roving musical performers, as they deliver Christmas joy, and light up Surfers Paradise with A Capella renditions of your favourite Christmas carols.

Carols on the Beach brings you the first ever beachfront Carols by Candlelight on the Gold Coast.

Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy an evening of song with the whole family, spending a summer night under the stars in Surfers Paradise. And if you're lucky, you might just get a peek of the big man himself!

In a magical end to the night, Surfers Paradise will light up with fireworks, spreading the Christmas cheer to all.
